José A. Pagán, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Public Health Policy and Management in the School of Global Public Health at New York University.
He is also Chair of the Board of Directors of NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal health care system in the United States. Dr. Pagán is a member of the National Academy of Medicine. He is a health economist and health services researcher who has led research, implementation, and evaluation projects on the redesign of health care delivery and payment systems.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Interdisciplinary Association for Population Health Science and the American Society of Health Economists.
The Texas Center for Health Disparities invites researchers and community organizations to present their work at the 20th Annual Conference "20 Years of Institutional Impact: Building Partnerships for Achieving Healthy Communities and Workforce Excellence ", (June 5 - 6, 2025). We hope this conference will bring together stakeholders from various disciplines to encourage conversations on this topic and promote future collaborations.

Accepted presenters will be asked to present a poster to be showcased during the conference. Abstracts will be housed in an online portal and will be available to view throughout the conference. Additional details will be sent to you in your acceptance letter.
